Language Line

Purpose :

To provide new residents to NZ who do not speak English with an on call translation service.

Key Components :

Available in 39 languages, usually within a maximum of 2 minutes waiting time.Caller gives Full name, name of Practice, what language is required, and if it is important - whether a male or female interpreter is required.

The RCPHO is charged the minimum 15 minute block once the call is connected to an interpreter.

How to access :

Available from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday
