Diabetes Free Annual Get Checked Programme

for all those with diagnosed diabetes

Purpose:

To check that important changes in diabetes control do not go un-noticed.

Key Components:

Physical check of weight, B/P, HBA1c, Total Cholesterol: HDL and LDL, triglycerides, microalbuminuria, eye examination every 2 years; foot check - sensation and pulses.

Payment:

Carried out by the GPT - invoice to the RCPHO office.
