Pandemic Planning

The Rural Canterbury Primary Health Organisation is a member of the Canterbury District Health Board Primary Care Pandemic Influenza Planning Reference Group. Regular meetings are held to help prepare Canterbury for the inevitability of another influenza pandemic.

To assess the readiness of the primary health care sector, Exercise Adam was recently held to establish a Community Based Assessment Centre (CBAC) in Christchurch city.
